We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Business Excellence Intern to support the North American Food Programs and North American Fleet Programs. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business process improvement, program development, and strategic planning within a corporate facilities environment.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Facilities Management, Operations, or a related field as rising junior or senior; can also be current Master’s or PhD student.
Currently maintaining a GPA of at least 3.0
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to interpret data, draw insights, and create actionable recommendations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Over the course of the summer, the intern will play a key role in building program guidelines and best practices, evaluating consulting recommendations for coffee, vending, and cafeteria programs, and developing a project plan based on those recommendations. The intern will also assist in fleet inventory management and support the fleet rental pilot program to improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing program guidelines and best practices for the North American Food and Fleet Programs.
Analyze consulting recommendations for coffee, vending, and cafeteria programs and develop an actionable project plan.
Create a fleet inventory program, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
Create a fleet rental pilot program, assisting with tracking, reporting, and improvement initiatives.
Conduct research and benchmarking to identify industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement program improvements.
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
