Job Title: Divisional Marketing Manager

Summary:

To hone and execute GPO marketing strategies at the field divisional level to meet organizational objectives. Effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the division. Liaison between Marketing and Operations, in collaboration with peer Divisional Marketing Managers, to ensure consistency in Grifols brand and marketing across plasma center locations. Drive plasma donor recruitment, retention and recapture activities and strategies developed by Corporate Marketing at the divisional level.

Primary Responsibilities for Role:

  • Drive execution of marketing strategies across division to meet new donor recruitment and donor retention/recapture objectives.

  • Manage and coordinate marketing, advertising and promotional activities, including execution of corporate campaigns throughout field locations.

  • Partner with peer Divisional Marketing Managers to share best practices and ensure consistency of marketing and messaging across GPO.

  • Conduct market analysis to inform existing and future marketing strategies and tactics, measure effectiveness of programs.

  • Allocate divisional marketing budget across regions/centers and marketing programs, with full accountability to report results, deliver programs on budget.

  • Analyze donor panel behavior and trends drawing conclusions for marketing planning purposes.

  • Develop and implement marketing plans, activities and projects.

  • Liaise with cross functional teams and function as extension of Marketing department at Operations level.

  • Work closely with Creative Department to ensure communications are aligned with organization goals and Grifols brand.

  • Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects and develop reporting metrics measuring effectiveness.

  • Conduct training on tools and new programs in the field as needed.

  • Create and deliver marketing presentations.

  • Monitor industry best practices and competitive activity.

  • Liaise with media and advertising vendors, as required.

  • Contributor to Marketing Department organization campaigns and activities as well as provide recommendations related to field experience.

  • Other responsibilities as defined by the General Manager and Associate Director, Marketing Field Execution.

Other Responsibilities for Role:

  • Collaborates with colleagues and cross-functional groups on projects and strategies to reach operational targets.

Job Requirements:

EDUCATION: B.S. in Marketing, Communication, or Business.

EXPERIENCE: Typically requires 5-7 years of related experience.

EQUIVALENCY: Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements. Example: If a job level requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience, an equivalency could include 8 years of experience, an Associate’s degree with 6 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 2 years of experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Prior experience in marketing strategies and execution. Plasma or blood collection experience preferred. Candidate should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, excellent verbal and written communications skills, ability to analyze and prepare data for presentation purposes, organization and planning competency, strategic thinking, problem analysis and problem-solving, interpersonal skills, decisive, adaptive and the ability to use good judgement. Ability to travel within the Continental U.S. up to 75%. Ability to work with and around people of diverse cultures and education levels. Ability to work independently.

OCCUPATIONAL DEMANDS FORM # 9: Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Occasionally walks and stands. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs. Frequently drives to site locations with occasional travel within the United States. Able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken and written words and sentences. Interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups. Must work with diverse groups to obtain consensus on issues.
