Position Summary :

As a Statistical Programming Graduate at Grifols, you'll assist our Statistical Programmers and Statisticians in reporting clinical trials. You'll work with programming leads to implement standardized reporting tools and processes within Grifols’ Biometry and automate the checking of statistical deliverables from external vendors.

What you will do?

  • Data Manipulation and Analysis: Develops and maintains analysis datasets and performs and reports statistical analyses using various statistical programming languages. o Writes and tests code to automate data processing, analysis, validation and reporting of clinical trial deliverables (e.g. analysis datasets and statistical tables, listings, and figures) from internal and external sources.

  • Evaluates and participates in the implementation of new technologies/services and new industrial standards (e.g. CDISC).

  • Assists in the development of study data analysis plans, working with contractor programmers to ensure the quality of the deliverables.

  • Supports the Regulatory Affairs group with electronic submission to FDA, by preparing the requisite documentation, in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Works with statisticians and data managers and acts as an integral member of a clinical project team, preventing potential issues and reconciling if the issues occurred.

  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Proactively identifies and resolves programming issues and data inconsistencies and suggests and implements resolutions.

  • Supports the development, validation, maintenance and enhancement of global macro programs

Who we are looking for:

  • Education : Minimum Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, bioinformatics, biostatistics, or related field.

  • Knowledge and Skills :

  • Proficient in SAS, R, or other statistical programming languages.

  • Strong understanding of relational databases and data structures.

  • Knowledge of statistical principles and methods.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Ability to create clear and concise documentation of programming code and analysis procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

  • Strong organizational ability.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work independently and under own initiative.

  • Desirable Skills :

  • Competence in Microsoft packages (Teams, Word, etc.).

  • Experience in the development of R-shiny apps.
