Summary:

The HR Administration Associate Director is accountable for the execution and administration of all aspects of the Company’s multi state onboarding, HRDC, HR Connect and payroll processes. This role will also be accountable to design short-term and long-term organization, process, and policy strategies for these areas, as well as identify and implement continuous improvement and potential automation opportunities. This role will be the primary liaison with Benefits, Compensation, Finance, IT, Corporate and Operational leadership and 3rd party vendors to ensure process goals and requirements are communicated timely and met. This role will lead the department culture to reflect excellent customer service, work quality, responsiveness, and teamwork.

Primary Responsibilities for role:

  • Directs payroll operations and HRDC management to ensure the most efficient processes and strategies for multiple business units, meeting all deadlines and related responsibilities

  • Directs Onboarding and HR Connect management to ensure the most efficient processes and strategies for multiple business units, meeting all deadlines and related responsibilities

  • Partners with Benefits, Compensation,Finance, IT, Corporate and Operational leadership, and 3rd party vendors in aligning and implementing a more sophisticated, automated processes

  • Provides leadership and coaching to reporting managers to bring them to next level

  • Maintains and enhances internal controls and SOPs regarding areas under supervision

  • Designs or adjust current practices to comply with new state and federal government regulations

  • Participate in business strategy planning and workforce planning as requested

  • Develop documentation related to North America Payroll, Onboarding, HRDC and HR Connect procedures

  • Develops and provides key metrics and benchmark reports to management

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

  • Identify automation and cost saving opportunities

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure SOX compliance

  • Back up for management under you supervision when required

  • Maintains team staff by setting and monitoring team goals and objectives

  • Maintains teaml staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results

  • Drives culture shaping, organizational development and change management strategies aligned to overall business objectives.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of management expeirence in a multi-country company with 5,000-10,000 employees

  • Project or technical leadership experience required

  • Experience in managing multiple departments required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • A solid understanding of Payroll, tax laws, payroll related accounting principles and filing requirements

  • A solid understanding of I9 and backgroud check process

  • Knowledge of ADP, Tracker and Neocase systems is a plus

  • Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley

  • Advanced Excel and MS Office skills

  • Excellent and demonstrated project management skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to influence and coach management and leadership team

  • Strong negotiating, influencing, and consulting skills.

  • Ability to present, communicate initiatives, results, and analyses to multiple levels of management

Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements. Example: If a job level requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience, an equivalency could include 8 years of experience, an Associate’s degree with 6 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 2 years of experience.

Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Occasionally walks. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs. Frequently drives to site locations with occasional travel within the United States. Able to communicate complex information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Works independently with little guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions and plans work schedules to meet goals. Frequently interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups. Must work with diverse groups to obtain consensus on issues. Ability to apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues.
