Position Overview:

The Associate Product Management Director is a key member of the brand team, which is focused on healthcare professional marketing, helping to support the brand strategies that enhance HCP understanding of the brand's core benefits. In this role you will be responsible for HCP promotion of Gamunex-C, work with other brand team members to provide strategic recommendations and to oversee the implementation of promotional and advertising plans for the assigned product group with the goal to achieve optimum sales and profit results for the individual brands. In addition to having independent projects and responsibilities, this position will be integral in the day to day aspects of all marketing activities such as project expense tracking, promotional materials management, and agency management.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain a working knowledge of product features/benefits, competitive activity, and current customers

  • Partner with the sales team and sales leadership including alignment on executional tactics and sharing of customer insights and knowledge to help evolve or further develop promotional activities.

  • Identify opportunities and obstacles to brand growth; works collaboratively to resolve them across cross-functional team.

  • Contribute to the development of advertising and promotional concepts and materials to include personal and non-personal HCP tactics

  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and review team to generate digital and print advertising material

  • Maintain and update records of marketing metrics and results of current and past campaigns

  • The candidate will routinely work closely with internal support functions including commercial analytics, market research, commercial learning and development, Digital Customer Experience (DCX), consumer marketing, managed markets and medical communications.

  • Help to monitor and track promotional budget allocations

  • Manage promotional materials inventory and shipping/mailing of marketing materials

  • Other duties as assigned/defined based on brand needs and resources (e.g. work with KOLs, attend conferences and conventions, collaborate with HUB services partners, liaise with corporate communications, consumer marketing and patient advocacy)

Skills/Qualifications/Education Requirements: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • B.S. or B.A. degree in Sciences, Business or Liberal Arts. MBA or graduate business work a plus

  • Minimum 3-5 years of pharmaceutical product marketing experience, or 7-10 years of pharmaceutical sales or pharmaceutical brand advertising experience

  • Rare disease, HCP marketing (personal & non-personal), Neurology and specialty therapeutics experience preferred

  • Sound understanding of brand management principles, marketing tactics, lifecycle management preferred

  • Must be a self-starter, enthusiastic contributor and able to build relationships and work well with a team

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, analytical skills, and business acumen

  • Strong Project management and computer literacy (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel), needed

  • Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements. Example: If a job level requires a Bachelor's degree plus 2 years’ experience, an equivalency could include an Associate's degree with 5 years of experience in a related field

Work is performed in an office environment (flexible remote environment – 2 days remote/week) with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Frequent hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Frequently walks. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs. Frequently drives to site locations and frequently travels within the United States. Able to communicate complex information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Frequently interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups. Ability to apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues. Performs a wide range of complex tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence.
