Summary:

This position reports to the Manager, Commercial Contract Management and will handle daily tasks related to the revenue line including processing chargebacks, validating system updates based on contractual agreements, managing internal recordkeeping of all contract documentations, engaging with customers and preparing analysis on business performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review, validate and process incoming chargeback data and ensure transactional detail is in compliance with active agreements and Grifols’ company policy.

  • Accurately manage high volume of chargeback lines and timeliness responses to customer accounts.

  • Communicate membership errors to the Commercial Contract Membership team to confirm customer eligibility based on agreements.

  • Address chargeback-related questions from external customers while building business relationships.

  • Provide semimonthly performance analysis on chargeback activity to account managers to aid in business decisions.

  • Develop and maintain statistical and activity reports pertaining to Distributor and contract specific performance.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience working with CARS FLEX (Revenue Manager) a plus.

  • Ability to operate independently and in a team environment.

  • Knowledge and experience of SAP.

  • Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or other quantitative disciplines.

2+ years general business experience - experience in a contract or contract related environment preferred.

Equivalency:

Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements.

Occupational demands:

Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.

The estimated pay scale for the Chargeback Specialist role based in Los Angeles, CA, is $70,000 - $85,000/ per year. Additionally, the position is eligible to participate in up to 5% of the company bonus pool. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on education, experience, skillset, knowledge, where the role is performed, internal equity and market data.
