Must live in North Carolina, but will need to be able to travel to the RTP, NC office occasionally. Mostly remote.
Summary:
This position will design e-learning and workshops using adult learning principals working with stakeholder from across Grifols companies which may include collaborating in Spanish, facilitate courses as requested, train new CL&D staff to ensure consistency with policies and procedures, and support retention of CL&D team knowledge, and implement and support on other CL&D systems. Working independently this individual is responsible for managing the training system including but not limited to recording completed training courses, revisions, notifications, reporting and record issuance. The position supports Grifols USA and may act as decision maker or signatory in the absence of Commercial Learning and Development Director.
Primary responsibilities for role:
● Design and develop e-learning and workshops using adult learning principals for both live and virtual environments.
● Implement and facilitate courses as needed.
● Train new CL&D staff (including associate director trainer and projector manager) to ensure consistency and knowledge retention.
● Design and manage meeting event platform for commercial learning events.
● Manage all aspects of the on-line library, including evaluate courses for curriculum enhancement.
● Advertise and evaluate the usage or effectiveness of courses.
● Develop, analyze, present, and report survey results for individual learning events and annually for the CL&D team. Suggest changes based on data.
● Research and advise new technology for CL&D to incorporate.
● Track and trend, and report CL&D strategy plan for entire team at monthly meetings
● Responsible for all aspects of managing the LMS (SAP HR and Moodle system Campus Grifols), including coordinating data loads from IT through the HR system.
● Ensure training programs, curriculums, files, and reports, are up-to-date and organized in a manner that assures compliance, ready retrieval and availability in the training system and department files.
● Respond to requests for training records and analyzing inquiries received from users regarding LMS. Must investigate inquires and work through necessary channels to resolution in a timely manner and communicate results to initiator. Troubleshoot and correct issues reported. Monitor LMS for errors and audit the system functions on a regular basis.
● Provide support to Commercial Learning & Development team with GRP submissions. This will include making requested changes to documents in Word, Excel, PDF, and/or PowerPoint
Skills/Qualifications/Education Requirements: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ● Bachelors degree required
● 0-2 years of relevant experience in training, instruction design, and/or learning management systems. Pharmaceutical, biologics, biotech, or medical device industry a plus.
● Working knowledge of SAP HR Environment and Moodle is a plus.
● Good computer skills with knowledge of MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
● Ability to keep neat, accurate and complete records and logs, preferably experienced in working with training databases.
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle an ever changing, fast paced critical work environment.
● Must be proactive, results oriented, with a strong attention to detail.
● Self-starter with good work ethic and ability to work independently and use good judgment, or as a contributing member of a team.
● Strong organizational, analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to analyze details and perform structured decision-making on a daily basis.
● Excellent verbal and written communication.
● Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of personnel in a professional manner
Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Frequent hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Occasionally walks and stands. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs. Frequently drives to site locations with occasional travel within the United States. Able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken and written words and sentences. Interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups. Must work with diverse groups to obtain consensus on issues.
Pay scale $48,000- $72,000 per year, depending on experience. This position is eligible to participate in up to 5 % of the company bonus pool.
