What your responsibilities will be

• Design, implement and maintain databases solutions for on premise and cloud infrastructure.

• Technical reference for the managed service and last technical escalation point.

• Advanced technical support for configuration and performance problems

• Collaborate closely with application teams to provide the best database solution for every project

• Evaluate and select appropriate database technology for different requirements.

• Ensure security and data compliance by implementing best practices and security policies.

• Identify opportunities to improve scalability and availability of the databases

• In conjunction with Service Manager, define and implement Technical evolutive roadmap

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Systems, or a related field.

• Experience in Planning and Executing IT strategies aligned with organizational goals

• Knowledge of IT services, processes and operating models

• Deep knowledge and high DBA experience in Oracle and SQL Server databases

• Experience in designing and implementing high availability, scalability and disaster recovery solutions

• Experience in designing and implementing replication solutions (Oracle Golden Gate)

• Used to work on cloud environments, specifically on OCI and Azure, using Database as a service

• Proven experience as DBA Senior or Architect

• MySQL and PostgreSQL experience is a plus

• Fluent English (speaking and writing)

• Strong troubleshooting and system diagnostic skills.

• Engaged and optimistic to face new challenges, focused on continuous improvement.

• Collaboration mindset among other areas and providers.
