We are seeking a Manufacturing Planner to join Laboratorios Grifols SA.

Reporting to Production Planning Manager, your main mission will be responsible for scheduling daily WIP inventories and creating monthly manufacturing plans. The Planner must possess process knowledge of manufacturing interdependencies, constraints and requirements to efficiently schedule their assigned area and react quickly to situations where contingency plans are required.

What your responsibilities will be

  • Create monthly manufacturing schedules within the capacity constraints (product, equipment, labour) as identified for each work centre giving support to Production Planner MGR.

  • Schedule effectively to achieve delivery performance and product outdate objectives.

  • Incorporates planned maintenance, project and validation work into the schedule.

  • Monitors all WIP inventory with established inventory levels and avoids write-offs due to expired inventory (product level and raw material level only).

  • Provides input into departmental priorities based on the manufacturing plan and acts as a liaison between Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Engineering and Validation.

  • Initiate the internal process of creating new SAP codes in the system.

  • Monitoring and claiming of the data necessary for the activation of the material.

  • Coordinate the related tasks with the departments involved.

  • BS degree in Degree in Science, Business or Engineering is required.

  • You have at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing plant.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, manufacturing constraints and GMPs.

  • Knowledge of SAP ERP system and Microsoft Office.

  • Must be comfortable in a constantly changing environment and able to shift plans and priorities daily to meet mid and long-term objectives.

  • Strong communication, organization, logistical and multi-tasking skills.

  • Strong decision-making skills.

  • You are fluent in Spanish and English (B2.2.).
