What your responsibilities will be

  • Participate in the organization's global maintenance strategy and ensure its execution through associated resources and departments, including the optimization of preventive and predictive maintenance programs, in alignment with the objectives of the production division.

  • Directly supervise the shift-based production maintenance team, ensuring optimal execution of corrective and preventive maintenance. Also directly supervise the project maintenance team.

  • Oversee the management of spare parts for production equipment and existing facilities according to the site's needs and within established timelines, ensuring the continuity of production activities.

  • Manage analysis related to equipment and facilities and oversee the implementation of improvement plans derived from such analysis.

  • Lead continuous improvement projects in the maintenance area, using tools such as Lean Six Sigma to identify and eliminate waste and enhance processes.

  • Coordinate activities with the different sites within the business unit, allocating necessary resources to support breakdowns or project implementations at other sites, while simultaneously ensuring continuity of maintenance and project activities at the Parets site.

  • Coordinate with different sites in the business unit and allocate the necessary resources for implementing proposed improvements to equipment and facilities, adjusting them as needed to fit the specific characteristics of each site.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in leadership roles within industrial maintenance, preferably in GMP or FDA-regulated environments.

  • You possess solid knowledge of industrial systems and equipment, as well as preventive and predictive maintenance practices.

  • You have experience in developing and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) and in managing maintenance budgets.

  • You are proficient in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and continuous improvement tools such as Lean Six Sigma.

  • You have strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop teams.

  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other departments and across all levels of the organization.

  • You have strong knowledge of industrial safety and regulatory compliance.

  • You are capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Your English level is advanced (B2.2 – C1).

  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.
