The Academy International Operations Manager will be responsible for providing oversight and support to our global partners through academic consulting, oversight of design and development initiatives, administration and integration to Academy course material, use of all educational technology systems and while supporting the Grifols Academy of Plasmapheresis' operational strategies both internally and externally. This position will deliver training and leverage the tools/technologies as appropriate to design material for face-to-face classroom instruction, interactive distance learning, e-Learning, webcasts, webinars, audiocasts, podcasts, vodcasts, mobile learning and/or blended course strategies. This position assists with the organization's efforts in meeting the needs of our global partners and our internal clients in areas such as: leadership development, cultural competencies, employee engagement and organizational change.
Manage and ensure full capability and compatibility of all new and existing learning and knowledge sharing systems, tools, and integrations, including mobile environments.
Partner with stakeholders internally and within our client organization to transfer business knowledge into learning solutions.
Coordinate with curriculum, assessment, and instructional design teams and subject matter experts to gather system/platform technical requirements, determine functional and reporting design needs and ensure a successful user experience in support of achieving desired learning outcomes.
Partner with all functional groups within the Academy to improve collaboration and capitalize on areas for continuous improvement.
Establish a culture of continuous improvement within O&I using outcome based evaluations to continuously evaluate the effectiveness and return on investment of training programs
Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to identify and understand their learning and development needs to assure the business objectives are met.
Work directly with cross-functional system owners in IT, human resources, and other parts of the organization to create and maintain integration points for full system functionality.
Stay current on developments with online learning technologies to drive innovative and improved services.
Monitor the technology landscape for emerging technologies, educational theories and other aspects which may be of interest to the organization.
Assist with the design, editing and maintenance of the content and programs maintaining high quality levels and meeting usability and accessibility standards
Maintains all learning systems to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations, EMA, the FDA approved Standard Operating Procedure manual, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP and customer requirements.
Assist with the communication efforts that will support brand recognition and awareness of services for the Academy.
Works to maintain all accreditation functions while searching for innovative ways to optimize current academic partnerships or create new ones.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology, Instructional Systems Design, Training and Development, Educational Technology, or related field.
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience, including experience managing a staff.
Ability to develop a vision for adopting current course material or the identification new material required to meet the client's needs. Ability to plan, direct, implement and evaluate learning programs and related technologies. Knowledge of current practices in the administration of technology-based learning systems. Ability to facilitate training in a variety of modalities, emphasizing the learning objectives through the development of a learning community. Demonstrated experience managing teams and working cross-functionally with other technical and non-technical teams. Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to maintain a customer focus and achieve learning goals. Ability to manage, synthesize, and communicate complex information.
