Position Overview:
The Associate Director is a key member of the brand team, which is focused on healthcare professional marketing, helping to support, develop and drive the brand strategies that enhance HCP understanding of the brand's core benefits. In this role, you will be responsible for HCP promotion of our specialty portfolio centered on the Hyperimmunes Portfolio, work with other brand team members to provide strategic recommendations and to oversee the implementation of promotional and advertising plans for the assigned product group with the goal to achieve optimum sales and profit results for the individual brands. In addition to having independent projects and responsibilities, this position will be integral in the day-to-day aspects of all marketing activities, such as project expense tracking, promotional materials management, and agency management.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Achieve market share and sales goals for assigned product(s). Constantly reevaluates how time and resources are being allocated, to ensure that maximum return on investment is being achieved
Collaborate with marketing lead to develop agreed upon personal and non-personal tactics that align to HCP marketing strategy and executional plan, including GRP submission, review and approval, interaction with internal subject team members, agency partners and project development oversight
Participate and lead in key strategy discussions with marketing team members, as well as market research development and execution
Maintain a working knowledge of product features/benefits, competitive activity, and current customers
Align and collaborate with internal support functions including commercial analytics, market research, commercial learning and development, Digital Customer Experience (DCX), consumer marketing, managed markets and medical communications
Develop, present and implement a market plan that successfully meets sales and profitability goals for the assigned product, as set by senior management. Proactively seek input from sales force on how various efforts are working in the field, so that modification can be made to enhance return on investment
Utilize market research data and forecasting models to make promotional and pricing issue recommendations
Agency and/or vendor management of assigned projects; project brief development and approval, timeline and budget project management, KPI identification, measurement plan development and on-going monitoring
Other duties as assigned/defined based on brand needs and resources (e.g. work with KOLs, attend conferences and conventions, collaborate with HUB services partners, liaise with corporate communication)

B.S. or B.A. degree in Sciences, Business or Liberal Arts. MBA or graduate business/economic work a plus
Rare disease, HCP marketing, immunology and specialty therapeutics experience preferred
Minimum 3 or more years of pharmaceutical industry experience, or equivalent, with minimum 3-5 years marketing experience and product marketing experience OR 12 or more years of pharmaceutical sales, healthcare marketing, brand advertising or market research experience
Requires an understanding of marketing tactics and measuring performance
Experience in marketing strategies and methodologies; Sound understanding of brand management principles and tactics
Market analysis and analytical skills, needed; Experience utilizing market research data and forecasting models to make promotional and pricing issue recommendations helpful
Must be a self-starter, enthusiastic contributor and able to build relationships and work well with a team
Sales experience or exposure helpful
Strong Project management and computer literacy, needed
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, analytical skills, and business acumen

Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Frequent hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Frequently walks. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs. Frequently drives to site locations and frequently travels within the United States. Able to communicate complex information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Frequently interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups. Ability to apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues. Performs a wide range of complex tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence.
