Biomat USA, Inc. Associate Director, Strategic Marketing (Donor Generation) in RTP, North Carolina

This is a remote-based position with up to 25% travel.

Summary:

Delivers an intentional, cultivated donor base to drive collections for Biomat USA. Partners with senior leadership across Biomat USA to deliver efficient growth through this donor base. Leads team to recruit new donors strategically to find those with the potential to be long-term and frequent, and to recruit them based on their donor segment/profile. Leads team to understand our current donor center markets and identify adjacent markets to recruit new donor profiles. Leads team to research and identify new markets for our donor centers to reach donors in segments that are long-term and frequent. Leads team to build and maintain our Biomat USA brand across 200+ centers, corporate offices, manufacturing operations, and everywhere the brand resides digitally. Team reporting to the director will manage brand adherence, targeted donor recruitment and digital communication, and donor base intelligence to understand markets. Partners with donor experience team to ensure alignment with donor engagement programs once a donor is recruited and with the field execution team to ensure that recruitment programs are localized and effective in each region / center. This role would have an organization of four (three direct reports, one report to direct report)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Directs and manages team to develop strategic donor base management tools including market awareness, demographics, donor base segmentation, advertising and promotion and educational tools to move plasma donors through the Plasma Journey from awareness of plasma to joining our family. The Plasma Journey is Biomat USA's foundational, long-term strategy to drive collection growth.

  • Ensures the development of effective donor base strategy by providing analytical and strategic leadership to deep understanding of our current markets and new market potential, ensuring that we recruit 1.4 million new donors (current estimated demand, subject to change to meet volume) in the next five years. Provides clarification of donor base strategy and ensure others' buy-in and understanding. Recommends programs to deliver required recruitment metrics.

  • Leads team in unified approach for all Biomat USA centers (250+) to brand adherence as Biomat USA and part of Grifols.

  • Supports field execution team and Business Units to achieve on or above budget performance of new donor metrics and related donor frequency and retention statistics in the field.

  • Directs team to leverage actionable, real-time statistic and demographics on plasma donor behavior, experience, and engagement. Through this, drives action through regular customer (donor) feedback and continuous improvement of donor base experience and programming

  • Ensures alignment of all efforts with the broader strategic direction of Biomat USA.

  • Directs the development and delivery of digital recruitment strategies directly into the donor base across Biomat USA's growing communication platforms. Partners across the team to deliver donors seamlessly into our CRM engagement program which will launch in 2019 and communicate with all 600,000+ donors on a real-time, personalized basis.

  • Contributes to the introduction of successful field recruitment programs through the Journey by maintaining continuous communication with field leadership and marketing field execution. Understands market trends and assures the formation of strong promotional alliances to optimize business development materials. Explore opportunities for cross-Grifols programs to bridge plasma donors with Grifols' patients.

  • Manages brand, digital recruitment technology, overall recruitment programs, and donor base intelligence teams

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Expertise in driving marketing, business development, and brand programs through managing a team.

  • Proven ability to drive strategic vision leveraging analysis and business intelligence.

  • Excellent leadership and management skills of direct reports at entry and above levels.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science or related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Typically requires 8 years of related experience. Includes experience managing direct reports

Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Frequently walks. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs. Frequently drives to site locations and frequently travels within the United States. Able to communicate complex information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Frequently interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups. Ability to apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues. Performs a wide range of complex tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence.

Pay scale of $136,949.00 - $205,423.00 for US based remote employees, This position is eligible to participate in up to 15% of the company bonus pool.
