Summary
The Data Architecture Analyst will be responsible for designing and implementing data architecture solutions that support the organization's data strategy. This role involves analyzing data requirements, developing data models, and ensuring the efficient storage and retrieval of data.
Primary responsibilities for role include but are not limited to:
• Design and develop data architecture solutions to meet business needs
• Analyze data requirements and create data models to support data integration and reporting
• Ensure data architecture aligns with industry best practices and organizational standards
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data needs and facilitate the migration from Oracle DW to a data lakehouse solution
• Research and build teams capabilites for advanced analytics (e.g. Predictive, AI, etc.)
• Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture and data models
• Monitor and optimize data storage and retrieval processes
• Provide guidance and support on data architecture best practices

Skills/Qualifications/Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field; Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Data Architecture certification) is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or a related field
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data architecture solutions
• High level understanding to architect back-end data sets to enable the creation of effective front-end analysis and reporting solutions
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage data projects
• Experience with data lake migration, including planning, execution, and optimization of data lakehouse environment

Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Frequent hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Occasionally walks and stands. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs. Frequently drives to site locations with occasional travel within the United States. Able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken and written words and sentences. Interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups. Must work with diverse groups to obtain consensus on issues.
