Purpose & Responsibilities of Position:

Commercial Learning and Development (CL&D) is seeking a summer intern to assist with the development and deployment of training programs. The candidates will work with the CL&D team on multiple simultaneous initiatives. In addition, the identified candidate will collaborate with leadership in other departments of the organization to assist with the completion of training projects.

• Adapt leaders guides for training in a blended virtual / live environment

• Update documents associated with changing training to a blended environment

• Create documents to establish a process for needed activities

• Update training documents for submission to Grifols Review Process

• Attend regular CL&D staff meetings and various meetings with CL&D to review strategies and initiatives

• Work in conjunction with Commercial Learning and Development to assist in the planning and development of commercial meeting

• Collaborate with leadership in multiple departments to assist in the development of effective training strategies and learn about all areas of the business

As an intern for the CL&D department, you will gain an understanding of training in the pharmaceutical/plasma industry and the regulations that must be followed. You will also gain an understanding of how various departments within a biopharmaceutical company interact. These departments include marketing, sales, medical, legal and regulatory. Additionally you will gain a working knowledge of the types of projects associated with training.

• Applicants for the internship should be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in education, instructional design, learning technology or related field

• Currently a rising junior or senior or Master's or PhD student with a GPA of at 3.0

• Good experience using, Microsoft Office, Forms, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Storyline is helpful

• The tasks require extensive teamwork, good communication skills and willingness to learn and work with new computer software

• Following an initial training period it is expected that tasks are executed independently with little supervision. Time management, prioritizing and scheduling skills are important

• Willingness to take initiative with multiple tasks and projects

• Excellent organizational skills to complete all tasks and projects

• Excellent communication skills

At the completion of the internship the intern will be required to present the results of their activities to the senior leadership at Grifols

Hybrid 3 days in office/2 days remote
