What You’ll Do – Position Overview:

As the Recruiting Supervisor, you’ll develop and administer staffing / recruiting programs, including the identification of qualified candidates. You’ll maintain partnership with managers to ensure best practices of recruitment and staffing. In addition, you’ll plan, develop and implement recruitment and staffing strategies for assigned departments with special emphasis on hiring well-qualified and diverse pools of candidates in a timely and cost effective manner.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with managers to define selection process and arrange interviews. Establishes, cultivates, and maintains ongoing relationships with hiring managers in order to understand the business unit and its recruitment needs within the context of their mission. Develops and maintains a strong rapport with key leaders in the department. Attends departmental staff and other meetings as requested to acquire substantial knowledge about the department's business objectives, goals, operations and work culture.

  • Develops recruitment plans based on department needs that clearly define and commit to service and performance criteria.

  • Executes recruitment plan by aggressively recruiting for well-qualified candidates from a variety of sources, managing selection process to include screening, assessing candidates, interviewing, recommending finalists, and filling the staffing needs.

  • Provides guidance to hiring manager on recruitment process and interview techniques.

  • Creates job offers consistent with compensation practices and internal equity.

  • Works closely with all areas of HR Department to facilitate effective HR relationships.

  • Promotes Grifols at a variety of recruitment functions such as job fairs, university and college career days, and career events targeted for special populations.

  • Collects and analyzes data on demographics and hiring activity for use in designing recruitment plans.

  • Ensures AAP compliance in the recruitment process. Conducts targeted outreach when necessary and educates hiring managers on AAP practices and principles.

  • Maintains ownership of HR recruiting and staffing processes. Develops and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs) with internal controls.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. Concentration in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.

  • Requires at least 5 years of broad, full-cycle recruiting experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment and hiring trends, job market / employment trends, and creative approaches to recruitment are essential to this function.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong networks and relationships, as well as ability to interact with personnel and prospective candidates at all levels.

  • Superior oral and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with prospective candidates, as well as client group business leaders.

  • Must be able to learn and develop sufficient knowledge of the company's business and priorities to ensure accurate, on-time hiring.

  • Must possess strong critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills to formulate solutions to complex recruitment and business-related issues.

  • Self-starter with ability to drive high volume of work to completion.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet targeted deadlines.

  • Must be proactive, results oriented, and have strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to exercise good judgment.
