We are seeking a Global Financial & CMO (Contract Management Office) Analyst to join the Finance team, supporting the Diagnostics Business Unit, at Grifols International SA.
This role is an exciting opportunity to shape and implement a global contract management strategy in one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical Company. You will work closely with finance, legal and commercial teams to create a top-tier management department that enhances company’s profitability, mitigates risks and ensures long-term business sustainability.
What your responsibilities will be
- Contract Lifecycle Management:
Partner with Sale’s team, tender office, legal and finance departments to oversee the entire contract lifecycle key terms (performance obligation and key financial terms).
Identify legal, financial and operational risks in tenders and contracts.
Implement contract audit and review processes to mitigate risks.
Analyze contract compliance and publish reporting to the field sale’s team on a monthly basis.
- Financial Control and Performance Management:
Monitor contract pricing structures and profitability.
Overview of all Business Cases prepared by Sale’s team to ensure consistency with the Contract performance obligation and key financial terms.
Maintain structured and consistent accounting back-up for contracts.
Extract and consolidate key financial drivers from contracts into a centralized data repository.
Monitor and compare financial performance versus contractual obligations to ensure compliance and report deviations to Sales and Financial teams.
Partner with Sales teams to define templates for automatically translate contract requirements into a P&L (Revenue and Costs).
- Process automation and Technology integration:
Implement a global contract management process to ensure contract storage, tracking and compliance in Records Management.
Track renewal alerts and compliance to avoid missed opportunities.
Continuously asses new trends in Contract Management (AI,..) to enhance contract analytics by efficiently asses risks and performance obligations.
Develop best practices for contract structuring while accommodating country specific regulations and tender processes.
Ensure contract obligations and key financial metrics are clearly documented and accessible.
- Participate in ad hoc projects to improve efficiency, quality, and performance on the Diagnostics business unit.

Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Administration.
At least 3 years of experience in a business/financial capacity preferably within a related contract and blue-chip multinational environment
Knowledge of fundamental accounting and cost accounting concepts, practices and procedures.
Strong understanding of contractual financial obligations and accounting principles. Excellent business and finance acumen.
Ability to analyze contract performance and identify financial risks.
Excellent written, communication and influencing skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams (upwards and sidewards)
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently without detailed instructions.
Fluency in English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus)
Proficient in personal computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel. Experience with Salesforce.com, Microsoft PowerBI, and Recod Management is a plus.
Experience in Healthcare diagnostics or medical device industries is a plus.
