Role Mission:

The Sr Manager, HR Business Partner (HRBP) holds the lead HR role on site for partnering with business areas to enable the achievement of the business objectives through our people and talent. The role focuses on strategical and tactical tasks and delivery aspects of programs, policies & processes across all people areas such as performance management, succession planning, career development, compensation & benefits, employee relations and organization change interventions. Supporting in the full employee life cycle. This person has one direct report.

What your responsibilities will be:

  • Directly lead an HRBP.

  • Contribute to achieving business objectives by anticipating its needs through the effective implementation of HR processes and the professional and competency development of the organization's people.

  • Accompany, advise, promote, and implement both in terms of people management and HR policies according to business needs, anticipating them and being an active member in change management according to Grifols Values.

  • Implementation, monitoring, and supervision of HR processes (GPS, Talent Review, Merit Increase, etc.).

  • Detection of areas for improvement and resolution proposals.

  • Resolve any type of need or issue that arises from the business (direct attention to managers and employees).

  • Be knowledgeable about general business aspects to anticipate and be proactive in providing solutions.

  • Responsible for maintaining correct and active communication and dialogue with business areas and their managers (partnership).

  • Act as a company representative before public bodies, RLT, and internal commissions.

  • Participate in the design of HR policies and procedures.

  • Strengthen the manager's role in people management.

  • Ensure the correct application of legal regulations.

  • Be an active role in the implementation of HR strategy.

  • Collaborate in defining training strategies (objectives and content according to needs).

  • Participate in the selection processes for critical positions in the client.

  • Collaborate in defining salary policies and implementing them.

  • Participate and monitor the staff budget.

  • Participate in the analysis and description of job positions with the business manager.

  • Be a communication vehicle between business and HR to ensure necessary changes occur.

  • Collaborate in preserving and retaining the business's high potentials.

  • Perform diagnosis and implementation of organizational changes according to client priorities and within the framework of defined HR policies.

  • Ensure the adequacy of the candidate's competency profile in promotions

Who you are

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field with at least 5 years’ experience as a HRBP or similar. On a personal level, the individual should meet the following requirements:

  • Communication and negotiation skills both in English and Spanish.

  • Assertiveness

  • Understanding of business needs and prioritization ability.

  • Ability to work with a high volume of tasks.

  • Management skills.
