Summary:

Responsible for performing a variety of tasks in a warehouse environment involving the control and maintenance of inventoried material.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and monitors inventory accuracy within the Warehouse and Manufacturing areas

  • Maintains, monitors and coordinates cycle count activities for Warehouse and Manufacturing.

  • Reviews cycle count sheets for completeness and archives documentation per procedure.

  • Reviews cycle count master tracker and summarizes results for quarterly reviews.

  • Handles quarantine, retention and/or nonconforming material

  • Interfaces and interacts with Quality, Planning and Purchasing

  • Coordinates with external vendor to scrap material

  • Reprioritizes tasks based on unexpected changes in the schedule and business needs

  • Handles temperature-controlled, inventoried material in multiple warehouse locations.

  • Performs Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transactions in SAP.

  • Generates, processes and archives Transfer Orders (TO's), Goods Receipts (GR's) and inter-facility transfer forms, as needed

  • Operates various manual and motorized warehouse equipment.

  • Maintains training requirements

  • Maintains warehouse organization and cleanliness.

  • Provides accurate research results and recommends solutions for inventory discrepancies and reconciliation.

  • Works independently to perform root cause analyses

  • Works with Planning/Purchasing and external suppliers to process expired material and tag lot material.

  • Proactively monitors material to be used to avoid/minimize scrap, notifies management of expiring material.

  • Trains new specialists

  • Highly proficient in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (i.e. familiar with controls, functionalities, material management, and can perform research effectively)

  • Proficient and certified in operating all warehouse equipment

  • Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

  • Assigned to special projects and/or activities.

  • Representative for interdepartmental meetings

  • Mentors new team members and provides feedback.

  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) during internal and external inventory audits

  • Acts as departmental representative during internal and external audits

  • Works with Planning/Purchasing and Logistics Engineer to develop, implement and monitor action plans to minimize potentially non-usable materials.

  • May assist management with inventory scheduling activities.

  • Delegates tasks effectively and efficiently.

Education:

Typically requires a high school diploma or AA with related experience

Experience:

4-6 years in related experience (i.e. inventory management and/or control) with high school diploma. Must have at least 4 years of GMP experience in a regulated environment.
